In an effort to help keep our community safe and in following guidelines from state and local health officials to minimize the spread of COVID-19, MOA has temporarily closed its indoor galleries to the public. We will remain closed through at least April 11th per the Executive Order of the Governor, but will continue to monitor the progression of COVID-19 guidance from the state and update this notice with the most current information.
We may be temporarily closed for COVID-19, but we are dedicated to continue to bring art to our patrons! Please visit our Virtual Arts Experiences Page for virtual tours of past MOA exhibitions and arts films.
Since our founding in 1981, MOA’s mission has always been to “Make Art a Part of Everyday Life.” We achieve this through our unique indoor and outdoor art exhibitions, education programs, performances, events, arts film production, and other arts related experiences and programs.
MOA is a forerunner in the placement of site-specific sculpture in Colorado. Our art collection is located within various public locations throughout the Denver metro area. From commercial office parks to botanic gardens, city parks and traditional sculpture gardens; art is placed to interpret space as “a museum without walls.” Foremost, MOA believes in ‘making art a part of everyday life.’
MOA is headquartered at the Englewood Civic Center in the heart of Englewood. MOA also offers INDOOR galleries, studios and special events and programs. Currently showing at MOA’s indoor galleries is Rauschenberg: Reflections and Ruminations and a ticket is required to enter.
Our popular “Cabinet of Curiosities and Impossibilities” installation is located within the museum and therefore can not be viewed without purchasing a ticket to Rauschenberg: Reflections and Ruminations .
Please feel free to stop by for a visit or contact us anytime.
MOA’s outdoor collections are always free to attend.
