The Marjorie Park Uncorked event series features a variety of entertainment, from live music and performance art to comedy and movie nights, there’s something for everybody. The event is also paired with options for bites, wine, beer, cocktails, and yard games, all in an artful environment. Guests are welcome to bring their own picnic (no outside beverages, please) or enjoy bites and beverages from an on-site food truck or our concessions! There is limited seating available, first come, first served and all are welcome to bring their own folding chair, cushions and blankets.

Admission- Most events in this series are FREE, however, some events in this series require a nominal fee to help us cover higher production costs (registration required for all events, free or charged.)
MOA Members always get their first drink on the house and get discounts on any paid events!

Marjorie Park Uncorked: Bluegrass on the Green

Enjoy Bluegrass on the Green with Jake Leg, featuring Lockwood Barr.
FREE CONCERT!

We’ll be kicking off the night with opener, Lockwood Barr, a renowned Nashville banjo player and songwriter. Lockwood has opened for artists and writers like Lori McKenna, Angaleena Presley (Pistol Annies), and recently toured with famed country singer, Clint Black. She has played in festivals all over the world, and regularly hosts rounds at the Bluebird Cafe in Nashville.

Our headliner will be an unforgettable performance by Jake Leg, named one of “10 of The Top Colorado Bluegrass Bands” by Denver Westword. Since forming in 2021, the band has quickly garnered national attention and were recently nominated for 2024 IBMA Momentum Band of the Year. With their all-original debut album “Fire on the Prairie” released in May of 2024, Jake Leg is poised to make their mark in the bluegrass world with their unique voice. Consisting of award-winning musicians Eric Wiggs on guitar and vocals, Dylan McCarthy on mandolin and vocals, Justin Hoffenberg on fiddle, and Aaron Hoffenberg on bass, Jake Leg breathes new life into modern progressive bluegrass, crafting a captivating landscape of high-level instrumental ability and thoughtful songwriting.

The Brutal Poodle will have their Grub Gremlin Food Truck on site, as well as snacks / beverages for sale at the bar! Picnics are also welcome (no outside beverages).

Enjoy Bluegrass on the Green with High Lonesome.
FREE CONCERT!

High Lonesome, named in Westward as one of the Top 10 Bluegrass Bands in Colorado, will be bringing an unforgettable performance. “Bristling with vocal, instrumental and songwriting talent with hard-driving live shows that are just plain danceable fun, High Lonesome is the latest breath of fresh music to spring from Colorado’s legendary bluegrass scene.”

Alongside the music,  attendees can enjoy the art within Marjorie Park and a selection of wine, beer, cocktails and snacks, available for purchase. Yard games will also be available for added fun.

We will have a food truck on site, as well as snacks / beverages for sale at the bar! Picnics are also welcome (no outside beverages).

Comedy Night

Get ready for an evening of stand-up under the stars! Join us for Laughs on the Lawn at Marjorie Park, where local comedians take the stage for a night of big laughs and good vibes. Part of our Marjorie Park Uncorked event series, this open-air comedy night pairs perfectly with bites and beverages from our concessions.

Bring your friends, grab a drink, and LOL in an artful environment surrounded by sculpture and nature. It’s comedy, community, and culture—served fresh. This event is restricted to those age 21+.
