Director of Programs & Communications
Tim Vacca is an established arts administration professional and has been working in the Denver area arts industry for nearly two decades. Tim has worked with the Museum of Outdoor Arts since 2003 and has held a variety of positions within the organization. Since 2015 he has served as the MOA Director of Programs and Communications he is responsible for managing education programs, exhibitions, and communications programs. In the past, Tim also worked as a curator and coordinator of temporary exhibitions for the Art and Culture Program at the Denver International Airport.
Tim is an active member of the Denver arts community, serving on the board of directors for both the Denver Theatre District and the Lowry Foundation. Throughout the region, he has lent his expertise to various art juries and selection committees, including his role as a member of the Denver Public Art Committee since 2021.
Tim received his undergraduate degree in Studio Arts and a certificate in technology, arts, and media from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2005, where he focused on traditional photography and digital art. He went on to complete his Master’s of Liberal Studies in Arts Development and Program Management at the University of Denver in 2016.
