The Anniversary Exhibition

On April 30th MOA will premiere The Anniversary Exhibition: Selections from the MOA Collection at its indoor galleries.

Founded in 1981, this year marks the 40th anniversary of the Museum of Outdoor Arts! In celebration of this milestone anniversary, we have decided to celebrate in various ways. While our more than 85 piece outdoor collection is on view 365 days a year, the portion of the collection you see on view in the gallery represents a selection from our indoor collection of paintings, sculpture, multi-medium art, along with the immersive Cabinet of Curiosities & Impossibilities. MOA has acquired a single artwork from several of the exhibitions it has hosted over the years, which has created an eclectic, one of a kind, collection that tells the story of our past.

Featured Artists:
Nick Bantock, Bill Barrett, Corwin Bell, Stanley Bleifeld, AJ Davis, Jason DeMarte, Maeve Eichelberger, Rob Fisher, Linda Fleming, Neil Goodman, Michael Gutzwiller, John Henry, Scott Johnson, Tsehai Johnson, David Mann, David Nash, Robert Rauschenberg, Lincoln Schatz, Joseph Shaeffer, Todd Siler, Daniel Sprick, Joel Swanson, Barbara Takenaga, and Mel Tanner/Lumonics.
