After receiving a BA majoring in history from Victoria University in Wellington, New Zealand Paul Leitner started as an archivist at the Museum of Outdoor Arts and eventually became Collections Manager after ten years. He currently retains a position on the board of trustees. During Leitner’s career at the museum, he attended EMT school, became nationally certified, and immediately pursued science and math prerequisite classes at Arapahoe Community College. He was accepted into a BSN program at Platt College in February of 2015, and is presently enrolled in his senior year. Paul is an ACP (nurse extern) at UC Health, and he retains a PRN phlebotomy job with Quest Diagnostics. Leitner’s dream is to attain employment as a nurse in the Denver area, and gain enough experience to pursue travel nursing.
