Design and Build Summer Internship

The Design and Build Summer Internship is a full-time, 8-week program that operates annually over the summer. This internship is led by our Design and Build Artist Fellow. There are typically between 8 and 12 internship slots available each summer session.

Unlike our Outreach Session, candidates must apply for an internship position. Applications from across the nation are accepted and college credit may be earned through the summer program, depending on the participants school requirements for credit. Summer participants are also awarded a stipend, which is intended to off-set living expenses throughout the summer program. The summer internship program is currently open to undergrads, graduate bound and emerging artists (academic enrollment is not a requirement to apply).

MOA does NOT provide housing. Participants are responsible for locating and securing their own summer housing if coming from out of the Denver area.
