About John Hock
John Hock works in the spirit of Constructivism, building on the early experiments of Pablo Picasso and Julio Gonzalez. Hock uses found objects, welding used building materials and metal scraps, which share shape with new forms. He received his MFA from Syracuse University in New York, and is part of many public collections in Pennsylvania, Ohio, Minnesota, New York, and Maryland. He is the founder and director of the Franconia Sculpture Park in Minnesota.
