“The Family Dog Experience,” is a psychedelic rock poster immersive exhibition celebrating Denver’s late 60s “The Family Dog” rock venue. The Museum of Outdoor Arts will transform the dressing rooms at Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre with an immersive installation showcasing the psychedelic rock posters featured in the documentary film “Tale of the Dog.” The film tells the story of the pioneering hippie rock club that launched the Denver live music scene in the summer of 1967. MOA has welcomed Scott Montgomery, the co-producer of “Tale of the Dog,” to serve as guest curator for this limited exhibition. It is fitting that our venue, Fiddler’s Green Amphitheatre, will be activated into a rock and roll immersive experience.
