About Entertain Englewood
Designed by our Design and Build alumni Alexandra DeBenedictis. Alex says “Each panel on the box depicts wildlife native to Colorado enjoying the entertainment district in Englewood. The first panel depicts the Gothic Theatre when it opened in the 1920’s and hosted the first talkies in Colorado. The movie shown is Lights of New York. The second panel is the Gothic now showcasing the diversity of music and events shown there since 1998. The last two panels illustrate the Tuileries Amusement Park, which opened in 1906 and closed in 1916; it was home to a roller rink, dance hall, bike races, daily vaudeville shows, Japanese tea parties and much more.”
