Shovels & Rope
Shovels & Rope is an American folk duo from Charleston, South Carolina composed of Michael Trent and Cary Ann Hearst. Combining threads from their individual solo careers, Shovels & Rope blends rock and roll, folk, and country rock.
“Less means more. That’s kind of always how it’s been with us. This time the rules were simple: we can only use what we work with live and whatever we put down on tape must be accomplishable on a stage in a live setting. That’s always seemed to be when we’re at our best. Or most twitchy. Many times we’ve made records that we loved and then, after figuring out how we’d perform it live, we end up falling in love with the live arrangement because being a 2 piece band, it took some real risk and struggle which led to innovation, which gave it a whole new life. (Consider the tortured grape.) So with this one we just started there and worked backwards. The result encapsulates, more than anything we’ve done before, the sound of our live performance. Resulting in what one might consider by definition, a definitive album.” – Shovels & Rope on Something Is Working Up Above My Head
The Band Loula
North Georgia natives and longtime friends, The Band Loula—Malachi Mills and Logan Simmons—is poised for a big breakout this year with the release of their highly anticipated debut EP, Sweet Southern Summer. Produced by John Osborne (Brothers Osborne) with additional production from Greg Bieck (Little Big Town, etc), the EP spotlights the duo’s powerful storytelling and unique swampgrass sound and consists of six tracks including their standout single, “Running Off The Angels,” which Billboard calls “An immensely promising release,” while All Country News declares, “a haunting, culturally charged ballad that cements their place as one of the genre’s most compelling new acts.” The Band Loula continues to garner widespread attention across the industry with their undeniable chemistry and near-blood harmonies, and recently made their Grand Ole Opry debut, for which they received a standing ovation. Powerful live performers, The Band Loula spent the summer on the road with Dierks Bentley and Zach Top as part of Bentley’s extensive Broken Branches Tour and has spent much of the past few years touring alongside artists such as Brothers Osborne, Ashley McBryde, Paul Cauthen, Elle King, Brent Cobb and Lukas Nelson.
Gasoline Lollipops

Over the course of six albums, Gasoline Lollipops have explored the far corners of amplified American roots music. They’ve been genre-benders and boundary-breakers, fusing the ferocity of punk-injected rock & roll with the rawness of folk music, the storytelling of country, and the soul of roadhouse R&B.
High Lonesome
“Bristling with vocal, instrumental and songwriting talent with hard-driving live shows that are just plain danceable fun, HighLonesome is the latest breath of fresh music to spring from Colorado’s legendary bluegrass scene,” this is how Veteran Bluegrass journalist, John Lehndorff described the band in his review of High Lonesome’s debut self-titled album. Named in Denver Westword’s – “Ten of the Top Colorado Bluegrass Bands” list, by Nick Hutchinson, this Front Range band combines a pleasing mash of dobro, fiddle, guitar, bass, and mandolin.
High Lonesome seeks to put a new spin on good old hard-driving bluegrass by way of tight harmonies, melodic original material, and an expansive reach that takes in music from various realms, including jazz and jam influences as well as traditional bluegrass
