About Dennis Leon
Dennis Leon interprets man’s destructive relationship with nature. Branches appear sawed-off of the fallen trunks. The rigid trees lack life, laying like severed limbs in the grass. There are no circles depicting the age of the dead trees. They act in strong contrast to the natural trees in the surrounding landscape. Leon received his BFA and MFA from Temple University, Pennsylvania.
