About Anja’s Column
Anja’s Column investigates John Adduci’s relationship with space. The artist says, “I think of a visual narrative, and this influences my choice of material and approach.” Columns represent strength and stability in architecture, although Adduci evokes movement and mobility in the work. John Adduci has worked as a sculptor in Chicago for the past twenty years, and has remained active in the creation and promotion of public sculpture. He received his MFA from Arizona State University, and is represented in many private and public collections throughout the United States.
