2026 Design and Build Fellow Joshua Peter Palmeri

Joshua Peter Palmeri joined the Museum of Outdoor Arts (MOA) as the 2026 Design and Build Fellow, working alongside MOA Programs Manager Tiffany Matheson Leitner to lead undergraduate interns through the creation of the 2026 Design and Build exhibition, Striking Sparks.

Throughout the program, Palmeri helped guide interns through the process of bringing their public art concepts to life, from design development and budgeting to fabrication and installation. As part of his fellowship, Palmeri also created a temporary commissioned installation for Marjorie Park, Redcifur-Roxanne.

About Joshua

Joshua Peter Palmeri is an interdisciplinary artist based in Denver, Colorado, working across sculpture, photography, street art, and installation. His work often incorporates functionality and human interaction, inviting the public to shift from viewer to active participant.

Born in New Orleans, Louisiana, Palmeri has been a member of the Denver community for 15 years. His work reflects an interest in deep cultural expression and the continuing evolution of Denver’s identity.

Palmeri brings 10 years of experience in architecture, design, construction, and fabrication to his artistic practice.
