2025 Competition Winners

About the 2025 Competition-

This year’s theme was “Sacred Geometry: Platonic Solids.” Submissions needed address the challenge of designing an architectural walk-in structure(s) or sculptural installation utilizing one or more of the five platonic solids found in sacred geometry (Dodecahedron, Icosahedron, Octahedron, Hexahedron, Tetrahedron) as the root structure of their design. The design was required to utilize architecture, landscape architecture, and/or sculpture/installation as a solution while considering environmental impact and sustainability in use of materials. The final design also needed to incorporate programming elements, such as music, lighting, projection or other features that enhance the overall experience of the form and user interaction. Furthermore, the design had to relate to a site in one of five national parks—Glacier, Arches, Denali, Grand Canyon, or Yosemite. Contestants’ designs needed to respond with their conceptual project under the premise that the structure / sculpture will be utilized by the general public in a publicly accessible setting.
