Visit the latest seasonal display at MOA's Outdoor Diorama at MOA's Marjorie Park. The summer installation entitled "The Time Machine". This display will be on view through Summer 2018.
Story of "The Time Machine" The Time Machine was left switched on in 1918. It can not be shut down or our intrepid travelers will not be able to return to their own time! Use caution when approaching the portal, or you too may be pulled in and lost in time.
The best time to view this installation is just after dusk. When you visit in person, see if you can pick out what some of the unusual items were before they became part of this installation! An old bread box, cookie press, air compressor, wine caddy, pasta canister, cheese board, boom box, ice maker supply line and more!
The sound track you hear is engineered using bytes from vintage 33 rpm vinyl sound effects recordings.
Additional imagery for the "time portal" includes MOA events and installations from the past 37 years.
Designed and crafted by Scott M. Soffa, SMS Studio
Additional elements created by: Heather A Longway, Georges Loewenguth, Jan Jones, and Benjamin Pound
