Apply to be an Artist in Residence
Winter/Spring and Fall Residencies Available
MOA offers one artist residency in the Winter/Spring (January-May) and one in the Fall (September-December) in its large studio located at MOA's headquarters at the Englewood Civic Center. Housing, meals and honorariums are not provided at this time, but free studio space is. Artists have access to the studio during regular museum operating hours. We also coordinate a couple of small events in collaboration with the artist in residence during their residency. These events range from artist process discussion to small workshops. Exhibitions opportunities may also be available, pending gallery space availability.
To apply for an MOA residency, send a brief letter of interest telling us what type of work you are interested in working on, an artist bio, vitae and portfolio samples to firstname.lastname@example.org. (*Note- The MOA Residency program is currently filled through 2018. MOA is reconfiguring the artist in residence program for 2019 and beyond and we are not currently accepting applications until further notice).
