Spring Diorama- A Lost Cabinet in the Woods
Originally installed at our outdoor diorama at Marjorie Park, this installation is now on temporary view at the north entrance to the Englewood Public Library through December 2018.
MOA has converted the above pictured Victorian architectural element, located at our Marjorie Park location at Fiddler's Green, to a new art diorama. This new exhibition space is a unique, creative space that will feature seasonal window displays for all to enjoy.

Visit the latest seasonal display at MOA's Outdoor Diorama at MOA's Marjorie Park. The spring installation entitled "A Lost Cabinet in the Woods". This display will be on view March 22 - June 20.
Story of "A Lost Cabinet in the Woods" You, the viewer have stumbled upon a secret, hidden "Cabinet of Curiosities" deep in the forest nestled inside a forgotten cottage. Filled with magical and fantastical wonders, this collection may have been assembled by Arthur Spiderwick himself, then lost in time.
Inside are dusty trunks, cases, jars, and crates filled with fairy artifacts; magic trinkets, enchanted shells, rare plants, and many other real and imagined treasures. Central to the diorama is an old small stool and makeshift work table strewn with implements, sketches, prints, and specimens quietly waiting for the intrepid explorer that created it to return.
This exhibition is generously supported by the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District.
